Again, we suggest that you not consider any radical, painful and irreversible surgery for this condition, which is in our opinion, outdated and unnecessary. Modern techniques of jaw surgery can be very appropriate for this condition, but again, you will want to discuss non-surgical options with your surgeon. OSA is a dangerous and potentially life threatening condition which can have a marked effect on quality of life. In the past, the main therapy available for this condition was
CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). This therapy is effective, but has

Advantages: This is a complex condition to assess and treat therefore, a consultation is required with Dr. Thompson in order to assess your particular needs.
